Current Responsibilities
In my current role, I lead a team of 14 to 16 billers and manage about 200 active claim line items across more than 160 insurance payers, covering Workers' Compensation, No-Fault and Private Insurance. One of my proudest achievements is a claims-tracking workflow that I built to flag claims approaching payer deadlines. It reduced our late-filing denials from 35% to 10%. I also achieved a 95% year-end claim resolution rate, and I have maintained a zero-HIPAA-violation record for 8 years, so I am very careful with confidential information.
Previous Responsibilities
Before healthcare billing, I spent 7 years as an IT Technician in Saudi Arabia with Al-Jeraisy. There I supported enterprise users, handled hardware and network issues, managed system backups and user access, and trained staff. That background makes me comfortable with software and technology.
