Metacare is hiring a US Medical Credentialing Specialist for its team in Johar Town, Lahore. The role is suitable for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in US medical credentialing and provider enrollment, including working knowledge of insurance payer portals and government healthcare programs.
Shift Timing: 6:00 PM–3:00 AM
Meal: Dinner provided
Key Responsibilities
- Manage provider enrollment and credentialing with insurance companies and government payers.
- Complete and submit applications for Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance plans, and other payers.
- Maintain and update provider profiles through CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and payer portals.
- Track credentialing applications, follow up with insurance companies, and resolve enrollment issues.
- Manage provider re-credentialing, license renewals, and enrollment updates.
- Maintain accurate records of application statuses, effective dates, and payer approvals.
- Communicate with insurance representatives to support timely application processing.
- Prepare credentialing status reports and escalate delays when necessary.
Requirements / Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in US medical credentialing or provider enrollment.
- Working knowledge of CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment processes.
- Familiarity with US healthcare insurance plans and provider enrollment requirements.
- Strong communication, follow-up, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple applications independently and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work night shifts aligned with US business hours.
