ZUE is hiring a Physician Billing Specialist for its onsite team in Karachi. The role focuses on U.S. healthcare billing, insurance verification, claims follow-up, denial resolution, payer communication, and billing compliance.
Working Days: Monday–Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and demographic information.
- Follow up on unpaid and denied claims.
- Resolve “no claim found” issues.
- Document payer interactions, call reference IDs, and follow-up activity in Nextech.
- Track claim deadlines and appeals.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate with supervisors, physicians, and clinic teams to resolve billing issues.
Requirements / Skills
- Experience in physician billing, insurance verification, or claims follow-up.
- Familiarity with Nextech or similar EHR/billing systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and medical billing compliance.
